St. Matthias is home to St. Peter The Apostle - an Anglican Filipino Congregation!

Filipino HeartThis vibrant mission congregation of the Diocese of Edmonton meets Sundays at 2:00 o'clock pm at St. Matthias.  You are welcome in our worship, where we celebrate the grace of God, of being in communion with fellow believers in Christ.  The Holy Eucharist is celebrated mainly in English from the Book of Alternative Services, though on the first Sunday of the month we are using our own dialect (kankana-ey/ilokano) in some parts of the service.

On the first Sunday of the month we also celebrate our culture from 'way back home' through meal fellowship or 'potluck' as a way of being in communion with each other. Most members of this congregation are Indigenous Peoples from Cordillera, the Northern part of the Philippines commonly known as IGOROTS.

If you would like to be in touch, please contact the St Matthias office, or contact our part time priest, Padi Dr. Eric Kregel.

Hope to see you soon!
